Unnatural Enemies

We Have Created Unnatural Enemies

Your pet's natural defences evolved over the millennia to cope with the threats of its natural enemies. But in the last 100 years modern science has created unnatural enemies against which dogs and especially cats have no defences. Nitrate food preservatives, heavy metals in water, dioxins, DDT, all of these are harmful because petss don't have natural ways to rid their bodies of these substances. Toxic materials such as PCBs are tasteless and odourless. They bind to fat, a body tissue only too abundant in many pets we see and accumulate, possibly affecting major and minor hormone balances. These toxic substances are never expelled from the body because there are no natural enzymes to attack and destroy them.
